Cape Town – Chris Brunt wants to see West Brom pick up a result from their last home game of the season and that means bettering Premier League champions-elect Chelsea.

The 62-year-old is said to have had dinner with Conte in London late last month to gauge the manager’s willingness to leave Chelsea.

“For sure now I’m a bit relaxed”.

For now, though, Conte will want to enjoy winning the league for the fourth season in a row at club level.

West Brom vs Chelsea kicks off at 8pm from the Hawthorns.

“Friday we have the first chance, but we must know to play against West Brom is not easy”.

Then Chelsea in 10th, this is another big, big step for me. That year Chelsea collected 95 points (still a PL record) and with three games to go the Blues can finish on 93 points if they win out this season.

Cesc Fabregas could also keep his place in midfield after his man-of-the-match performance at Stamford Bridge.

Marcos Alonso also found the net in the first half.

Midfield: N’Golo Kante missed the win over Middlesbrough due to a minor hamstring injury but the French global has been passed fit to return so he should resume his position in midfield.

We started this season to try to solve the problems and find the solution to change the situation created in the previous season. And then through hard work, he improved a lot.

The 47-year old is now on a deal worth £6.5m a season, which is less than Pep Guardiola, Jose Mourinho, Jurgen Klopp and Arsene Wenger.

“It is not important the single person now, me the players, we must be focused on the moment”.

‘It’s not important where you win, it’s important to win, ‘ he added. I don’t think Antonio will expect anything different. It’s very hard to understand.

Boro manager Steve Agnew said his dressing room was “devastated”. United can still make it to the Champions league if they win the final of the Europa League. “Obviously we’ve come up short”. “I think it’s important to have a great respect and to clap this type of situation because I think this happens only in England”, Conte explained. “It’s about the football club”, he said.

The Blues are the Premier League’s top goal-scorers after netting 75 times in 35 games in the 2016-17 season. The infrastructure is all there.

With two games left, Hull, Swansea and Crystal Palace look to be battling it out to avoid being the third team relegated along with Sunderland and Middlesbrough.

Three more points would put Chelsea out of reach of Tottenham, who face sixth-placed Manchester United on Sunday.
