Cheryl Fernandez-Versini considers dropping surname amid divorce from Jean-Bernard

The One Direction singer confirmed the couple’s romance by changing his profile picture on Instagram to a selfie of them cuddled up.

In it, Liam appears shirtless with a small smile on her face, while make-up free Cheryl holds up a peace sign to the cameras.

Perhaps the haters should take a leaf out of Cheryl’s book, whose Instagram bio reads: ‘All love.

They said: “Cheryl Cole became a brand”.

The ‘X Factor’ judge looks to have reacted to criticism about her relationship with the One Direction singer with a comment on Instagram, which has since been deleted.

The 1D star also seems to have had the seal of approval from the ladies in Cheryl’s life.

However, though of course Cheryl is – as far as we know – still legally married to Jean-Bernard, it’s now common knowledge that they are estranged and unlikely to ever reunite…

It’s the first confirmation that Liam and Cheryl have struck up a reported three-month relationship – first reported on Saturday – following her failed marriage to second husband Jean-Bernard.

A source told the Sun: “Cheryl and Liam are in a relationship”. With Liam, it’s just completely relaxed. They’ve always got on well and share numerous same interests, but there was never anything romantic between them in the past. They “not serious … but they’re enjoying things”, a source explained.

But is there any chance that the romance between Liam and Cheryl is the “real deal” and that it could last?

The former Girls Aloud star, who recently attended Kimberley Walsh’s Barbados wedding alongside X Factor’s Cheryl, has not publicly spoken about the pair who are rumoured to be loved up.
