The trailer’s soundtrack is Led Zeppelin’s hit number Immigrant Song.
I guess people really like Chris Hemsworth with short hair as Thor. While Justice League will feature numerous world’s most recognizable heroes (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and other super friends), I believe the god of thunder and his buddy Hulk will have a better story to tell and a better film to present, ultimately landing Thor: Ragnarok more box office success.
Here are five things that got us geeking out after watching the trailer. Btw, we also get to see Thor’s helmet, just like in the comics. It had glimpses of characters such as Skurge (Karl Urban) and Cate Blanchett’s villain Hela, while Tom Hiddleston’s Loki also made his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It looks like the God of Thunder has come roaring back.
One of my biggest peeves about the Thor movies is how little it cares for the myths it is based on.
It is possible that Hulk’s ship did not crash and that he actually flies the Quinjet into space and eventually makes his way to Sakaar. Guardians looks like more of the same, which is good, but not surprising.
But both of their characters briefly united in a 2013 comic series, Fearless Defenders – a team-up that fans now want to see onscreen. So with Waititi on board, there is great hope that this time around, the experience will be fun and to be perfectly honest, it’s a welcome change of tone for the Thor movies. Is he betting on his brother’s fights?
“Asgard is dead”, she later says, laying waste to the city.
Now comes the question: what will have a bigger opening weeked – Thor: Ragnarok or Justice League?
Marvel’s promise of a Thor vs. Hulk battle seems to have re-energized the Thor movie franchise.
But Hulk, wearing massive plates of armor, isn’t happy to see him.
Thor: Ragnarok, directed by Taika Waititi, arrives in theaters November 3 and will have two weeks to break the bank at the superhero box office before the Justice League finally arrives on screen.
