“Are you blaming Hillary for Bill’s infidelities? We see it. And little by little, more women are reaching the limits of their patience and speaking out”, she said.
In his 1992 presidential race, deputy campaign chair Betsey Wright coined the term “bimbo eruptions” as something the Clinton team had to concern itself with.
Holt did not ask Clinton about Benghazi, the Clinton Foundation or her email scandals from the State Department, areas that speak to her trustworthiness and ability to protect our nation.
“As she was talking about the various things and I started to say wait a minute, Hillary, you have been there for 26 years and you haven’t done it, why all of a sudden are you going to do it?”
He praised Hillary Clinton’s performance, saying the Democrat was “well prepared, she’s got the right temperament for the job, she’s well-respected around the world, she’s serious, she does her homework”.
“I’m here in North Carolina today due to their future and so that’s what I’m focused on, that’s what I think is relevant”, she said. She also has accused Mrs. Clinton of being complicit in her husband’s sexual misconduct and purposely turned a blind eye to the allegations.
Republican pollster Glen Bolger said it was unfortunate that these post-debate surveys, meant to drive traffic, were even conducted because they muddied the water for legitimate polls. What the country needs is “an adult in the White House”. He was impeached as a result.
Clinton’s debate also helped her bounce to leads in all five states, according to the poll.
“Trump ostentatiously avoided preparation-playing the proverbial high school slacker drinking beer behind the bleachers while the teacher’s pet was in the library”, wrote Dana Milbank of the Washington Post. As I write, Clinton is favored 68.7 percent to 29.6 percent. And frankly I got along with all politicians. “And that brand stuck, in part because it was imbued with power”. It makes sense, really, given that Trump has abandoned thousands of subcontractors without payment despite agreements to the contrary.
But Trump’s supporters in Congress, many of whom only slowly came around to supporting him, cautioned against those personal attacks Thursday.
“When making life-or-death, war-or-peace decisions, a president can’t just pop off or lash out irrationally”, she said on behalf of the Democratic presidential nominee at La Salle University in Philadelphia. The next presidential debate, which occurs on Sunday Oct. 9, will similarly rely upon crowd-sourcing for at least some of its questions.
