Yes, Sanders backers say theyre frustrated with a system they believe is rigged for the wealthy.
After her heavy defeat at the hands of Bernie Sanders in New Hampshire, Hillary Clinton is turning to voters in SC for salvation in her bid to become the Democrat nominee for president, with a message that is blunt and laden with pulpit admonition. “So I think they hide behind a little bit of innuendo”, John Podesta, the chair of Clinton’s campaign, told CNN on Thursday night.
After a bruising defeat in New Hampshire’s primary, Hillary Clinton is targeting black voters to reignite her sputtering campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination.
Clinton – who entered the race previous year as the presumptive front runner with sky-high polling numbers – fought to reestablish her dominance after Sanders’ landslide victory in the New Hampshire primary earlier this week.
“He was never a Democrat”.
But Julie Pace of The Associated Press said Nevada could be an exception. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), who is perhaps the whitest person to ever run for president in American history. Vermont is ninety-five per cent white, and early in the campaign Sanders’s rallies were only marginally more diverse. Both spoke to a large crowd at the annual Colorado Democrats dinner with the Colorado caucus less than a month away. Earning an equally loud applause, Clinton said, “If fighting for equal pay and women’s rights is playing the gender card then deal me in”.
