Looking ahead to the caucuses in a week, Sanders tells volunteers he’s ready to surprise people after having placed first in New Hampshire and a close second in Iowa.

Sanders singled out both Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton and Republican front-runner Donald Trump at Bonanza, calling Clinton “the indisputable anointed candidate of the establishment” and saying Trump “hated” certain minority groups, such as Hispanics and Muslims.
Sanders has only fitfully gone back at Clinton when she’s gone after him, but he suggested Saturday that his patience is wearing thin.
“I am not making promises I can’t keep”, Clinton said at a Minnesota DFL dinner Friday night, speaking directly after Sanders. But there are people out there today who say what the world is about is me. I’m the only candidate who has a record of taking on those barriers. “I am the only candidate who will stand with you in every single fight, no matter how hard it is or how long it takes”, she concluded.
Sanders said he was “really stunned” to see Clinton’s ramped up attacks.
Mr. Sanders then said that America has a higher rate of childhood poverty than nearly every major country and yet it still gives “huge” tax breaks to the rich. He then highlighted that the unemployment rate among African American youth is 51 percent.
