Could Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus feature a 6-inch display?

The company’s Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphones took the company to new heights, while the rather explosive launch of the Galaxy Note 7 took the company to new lows. The smartphone giant needed its upcoming Galaxy product to be big, bold and better in all aspects. The display would have a Glass of 2.5 D and the side strip would be made of metal, with the back panel featuring 3D curved glass.

Despite what Samsung and techs say, at the end of the day, the average user can only differentiate the Samsung Galaxy S from the Samsung Galaxy Note no more than they can differentiate the iPhone and the iPhone Plus.

According to sources, Samsung’s next-generation smartphone will push the boundaries of design with a new “all-display” look.

As a report on PhoneArena notes, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) will be USB Type-C based.

That’s not all folks!

This device is also the first Samsung device to pack on a Super AMOLED Quad HD display. Another report claims that Samsung has trademarked the term ‘Beast mode. This new feature holds the European trademark and it’ll somehow elevate their efficiency. And, come powered by a Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895. This high density display will be fitting for a phablet like the Note 8, not so much with a smaller smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 is expected to be unveiled alongside the Galaxy A7 (2017) and Galaxy A3 (2017) at the CES 2017 event next month. It’ll probably carry very thin bezels.

In the recent times, we have seen smartphones coming up with some incredible features. The owner had somewhat unwisely, and perhaps as part of an ill-thought-out prank, labeled their wi-fi hotspot after the name of Samsung’s now-defunct phone.

According to the report Samsung has now asked suppliers to put the panels into production ahead of the 2017 launch.

As the device will include significant improvements, it is also expected to be a little expensive than its predecessor, the Galaxy S7.
