Cruz says Trump is having a ‘Trumpertantrum’

During a speech to the British Parliament on Wednesday, Carter – frequently held up by the right as a liberal boogeyman – said if he had to choose between Trump and Cruz, he would choose billionaire businessman – not the kind of endorsement any GOP candidate wants.

Trump shot back at Cruz’s recent claims that Trump supports the Affordable Care Act, and proposes a single payer system.

After a day of slugging it out over the result of the Iowa caucuses, Republican front-runners Donald Trump and Texas U.S. Sen.

“He’s got good taste”, Trump said of Carter.

Admittedly it was a strictly limited choice, as Carter was asked to choose between him and Ted Cruz. Trump has dismissed the claims, calling to repeal and replace the legislation.

Carter’s comments have even become a part of Cruz’s argument against Trump on the campaign trail. “Ted Cruz gave us Obamacare, believe me”.

“It was an interesting yesterday, I don’t know if you guys saw”.

Cruz, speaking in Hookset, borrowed a line from Trump’s script, telling people at a forum on the heroin epidemic here that he would “build a wall” to secure our borders and stem the flow of drugs into the country.

While Cruz vocally supported Roberts’ nomination at the time, he was not yet a USA senator and therefore could not vote to confirm Roberts to the Supreme Court.

He won the first Republican caucus in Iowa last week, beating Mr Trump into a distant second place. Marco Rubio (R-Florida), also released a “report card” mailer, though Rubio’s was less heavy-handed than Cruz’s. “And we don’t need a president who was born in Canada, do we agree?”

“I’m only thinking about New Hampshire, that’s all”, he said, adding that he did “really well” in Iowa. On Wednesday, the candidate said, “Well, listen, it is no surprise that Donald is throwing yet another temper tantrum or, if you like, yet another Trumpertantrum”.
