Call in Chris Harrison to the rescue!
The girls all chat and wonder what is going to happen.
Fresh off his breakup with Danielle, Nick answers the door and let’s Corinne join him for a surprise nightcap.
Go to your room and think about what you’ve done.
He says he has had incredible moments with them and that he sent Danielle home because he didn’t have as strong a connection with her as he does with them. The first date card arrived for Vanessa and it said, “Let’s go deeper”. He told her she deserved more.
Vanessa then received her second one-on-one date with Nick, and professed her love for the 36-year-old Bachelor. Nick assures her that she’s great, but she responds by saying, “not great enough”. But he quickly got over it and told her that he didn’t want to say that he loves her yet.
But in front of Nick, she covers her tracks and is as sweet and ~innocent~ as can be.
During the date, Nick makes the women swim with sharks. While sitting on a boardwalk, Nick and Daniella had, or more accurately, didn’t have, a conversation.
Our favorite question of Andy’s had to be: “Never have I ever gotten a boner on a group date and had to hide it from the other girls”. And the two built a stronger connection with some serious discussions aboard a yacht, before delivering the type of underwater make-out shots that Bachelor Nation is built on.
If this season of The Bachelor has taught us anything, it’s that Corinne Olympios isn’t going down without a fight.
She cries as if this is truly devastating. Nick will be under a lot of pressure as he meets the fathers of his final four contestants, and has already expressed feelings of nervousness about heading home to meet the parents.
She’s not JUST confident: Corinne is in it to win it, and makes it known she has this one in the bag.
Meanwhile, Corinne stress-ate a pound of cheese and became increasingly jealous of Kristina. “It’s you women that I’m most excited about”, he tells the half-dozen sullen beauties, and they all head to Bimini. Nick put sunscreen on Kristina, Corinne put sunscreen on Nick, Corinne also put sunscreen on Corinne (she also referred to herself in the third person five times over the course of the episode) and Raven, without a partner, presumably got sunburned. “I’m scared I might be going home”.
Danielle M. had the next one-on-one date, and she and Nick rode bikes and explored the island. She didn’t maintain eye contact when she described their “wonderful day”, showing her nerves, but knew she had to open up. However, she made a decision to bare all and tell him that she cares a lot about him. Nick, shining a light on his face, said, “Definitely, yes”. He wanted to love her, but his heart couldn’t “get there”. But if Corinne’s being honest, “I don’t get from her that there’s much to open up about”. He must just be sick of having to dress up for a rose ceremony because he seems to avoid them at all costs.
After struggling with his job description of leading man this season, and nursing last week’s major meltdown-which resulted in half his cast being sent home – Nick started the week searching to find a reason to continue filming the show, altogether. A mystery brunette will come back to confront Nick.
