Dark Souls 3 Trailer Shows the True Colors of Darkness

February 24 21:31 2016

Bandai Namco are really gearing up for the release of the much antcipated Dark Souls III. Our web guy reckons it’s #000000.

The new Dark Souls 3 gameplay footage, taken from today’s live stream, showcases the powerful Zweihander and its just as powerful Weapon Arts.

It makes for a great Dark Souls 3 gameplay trailer; one of the more accessible ones the series has ever seen.

The creature design is sufficiently repulsive. The environments are lovely, in a grim, twisted way, too – showing us sun-bleached battlements, grand halls and blackened forests.

When it comes to creating a setting for your adventure, it’s mostly Dark Souls 3 all the way. The redeemable code to access the original game will be provided via Xbox message one week to 10 days after the order placement. The trailer was first shown at the Xbox Gamescom 2015 press briefing yesterday.

Dark Souls III will be available from 12 April on Windows PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Yeah, you mostly pitch the game on the “challenge” angle. Meanwhile, fans in Japan will get their hands on the game a little earlier on March 24. Those who pre-order on PS4 will gain access to a digital copy of the Dark Souls 3: Official Soundtrack on release day, along with an exclusive “Fire Fades” theme.
