Deadpool 2 Already Has the Funniest Trailer of 2018

The brand new trailer for Deadpool 2, “Deadpool, Meet Cable” was released on YouTube this morning!

While offering the first look at Josh Brolin’s Cable in action and teasing the appearance of X-Force (including SHATTERSTAR?!), the trailer was loaded with easter eggs and references – including a shout out to the original Bob Ross-inspired teaser from Thanksgiving a year ago.

Cable is introduced in po-faced style until the trailer freezes on an untouched shot of Brolin with his arm wrapped in green.

More will be illuminated in a matter of days, but for now take a look at the new Deadpool 2 poster below. The Deadpool Movie twitter account did a hilarious live tweet on Sunday during the Super Bowl. Check out over 60 Deadpool 2 trailer screenshots in the gallery below! Clearly, we have to keep Reynolds as Deadpool; this is America.

Once you get past all the parody parts like pointing out Cable’s greenscreen arm and Deadpool mocking their interactions by using action figures, you get a glimpse of what the real movie holds.

Saying he will handle it himself, the trailer then cuts to Deadpool playing with a Cable toy and a Deadpool toy (dressed as Woody from “Toy Story” as he yells “Reach for the sky!”). Why did nobody tell me he was in this movie? I hope Disney doesn’t take offence and sue. Are you excited after seeing the first official trailer for Deadpool 2?

The sequel will see the return of Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, TJ Miller, Leslie Uggams, Brianna Hildebrand and Stefan Kapičić, alongside new stars Josh Brolin, Zazie Beetz and Jack Kesy.
