Debate questioner Kenneth Bone becomes internet star

Ken Bone chose to devote his precious rhetorical capital to the business side of science, while leaving out the actual science nearly entirely.

Last night’s town hall debate between Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton was tense and ugly.

The Standard editorial board endorses Ken Bone for president, though not the photo editor, Ryan Welch. “And I was just the one wearing it”, he said on The Ryan Kelly Morning After radio show Monday morning. “It was the nicest thing I owned that I could put on in 30 seconds”. “I swear to you – sweater was Plan B”. “I am not sure why they care about what I have to say but I’m glad they’re engaged in the political process”.

While pundits debated who emerged victorious from Sunday evening’s presidential debate, CNN was quick to declare the victor: debate questioner Ken Bone.

A flawless Halloween costume, screamed the internet. Barack Obama about his tax plan in OH and became a representation for all middle-class voters. The 34-year-old says it’s business at usual at the coal plant he works at in IL. Bone told the New York Times that he’d been leaning toward voting for Trump but was impressed by Clinton’s composure and some of her answers.

“If I’m being honest, I really feel like the mustache deserves more than 1% but I’m glad it got on the list”, Bone responded.

“There haven’t been enough positives on either side for me to make a firm commitment”, he told the Times. But there was one clear victor and it may come to as a surprise: undecided voter, Kenneth Bone, of Belleville, Illinois. “If my voice can be heard then their voice can be heard”, said Ken Bone.

The allure of Bone, and the way the internet has so swiftly and readily embraced him, has been widely dissected.

Bone was also prepping to have an interview with Jimmy Kimmel.

Bone follows 15 people on Twitter, one of them being former St. Louis Ram and current New England Patriot defensive end Chris Long.

As of Monday afternoon, he had about 36,600 followers. He needs to add supporters, not just keep the supporters he has, and I don’t think he did much that’s going to do that.
