It seems that PlayStation Plus continues to lose in the fight against Xbox Live Gold in terms of offered games because next week, Xbox Live Gold subscribers will have free access to 14 EA games for a limited time.
The EA Access Free Plays Days is only going to be available on Microsoft’s Xbox One.
The EA Access trial will provide access to EA titles like Battlefield Hardline, FIFA 15, Need for Speed: Rivals and more between 19-24 January. Not only do they have access to the Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare Beta, but they will also be getting some free access to EA Access.
The reason why EA Access is not available on Playstation stems from Sony‘s claim that they do not see any value related to this service.
All of these games – and more! – in The Vault are yours to play, totally free.
The Indie 3D fighting game “Zheros” will be free from January 15 until February 15 for the Xbox One.
In order to access the games for free, those who qualify must simply launch the EA Access Hub app and select the title of their choosing.
“Get ready for the release of Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 by binging on the original”, says Xbox’s Will Tuttle. Did we mention that even if you play the early version, your progress carries over once you decide to purchase the final release? Discounts on EA digital content will also be provided. And it’s all just $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year.
Curiously enough, it is unspecified whether or not you can download each game’s associated DLC for free as well, which probably means that this offer only extends to the games themselves.
