Eagles’ Kelly denies calling McCoy

Bradford wasn’t caught up in the drama of running back LeSean McCoy’s return to Philadelphia. The Bills sent out McCoy as the team’s only captain and the captain kissed the Eagles’ logo at midfield.

He was the first player off the field following the loss and slammed his helmet into the wall inside.

“I’ve got nothing to say”, said McCoy. That being said, Kelly’s reluctance to retaliate this week never stopped McCoy’s ego from turning their first game against one another into the title bout at Summerslam. This week was all about the Chip Kelly-LeSean McCoy feud.

The buffalo’s running game has also forced opponents to bring the extra safety down in the box to slow the team’s ground attack and that affords more opportunities downfield in the pass game off play action.

McCoy, who is the Eagles’ all-time leading rusher, received a mixture of boos and cheers from fans at the Linc. Big play that gave the offense some good field position. I did not get an opportunity to talk to him.

Despite being a team that regularly commits a ton of penalties, Rex Ryan and his staff were upset with a number of calls that went against them in the Philadelphia game, as they made a huge difference in the Bills’ three-point loss.

Tyrod Taylor tried to keep the drive alive, but Ed Reynolds intercepted his pass sealing the deal for the Philadelphia Eagles. After the bye, Bradford is 3-1, has five touchdowns, just one interception and is posting a 97.5 passer rating.

The Bills rallied from a 20-10 deficit in the third quarter and tied it on Mike Gillislee’s 19-yard TD run.

After a forcing the Eagles to punt, Thigpen fumbled and Philadelphia recovered.

The Bills had two chances in the final minutes, but couldn’t do much.

Reynolds, a former fifth round draft choice, spent all of last season and most of this season on the Eagles practice squad and was called up recently due to injuries to several starters. “We have ourselves to blame on this one”.

The Bills tied it at 7 when Taylor connected with Sammy Watkins on a 47-yard TD down the right side. The score was 14-7 Eagles early in the second.

Just before the half, Caleb Sturgis hit from 45 yards out make it 17-10 Philadelphia. Bradford was 23-for-38 for 247 yards, a 53-yard TD pass to rookie Nelson Agholor and an interception that wasn’t his fault.
