Eagles select Sidney Jones with the No. 43 pick

The annual NFL Draft is now happening in Philadelphia, and college football prospects are competing to see whose agent can scrounge up the most outrageous suit for them. I know I’m going to an organization with a lot of great players. So it’s just very ironic.

The Chicago Bears surprised the National Football League by trading up to pick North Carolina quarterback Mitchell Trubisky with the No. 2 pick. The Texans shipped their 2018 first-rounder to the Browns.

How giving up their first-round pick to Philadelphia for Bradford plays out remains to be seen. Other top running backs still on the board entering the second are Florida State’s Dalvin Cook, Ohio State’s Curtis Samuel, Tennessee’s Alvin Kamara and Oklahoma’s Samaje Perine. We definitely miss him.

“We’re always going to build along the lines”.

“I take it as we just got a first-round talented corner”, head coach Doug Pederson said. We mean that in a good way.

Douglas doesn’t seem to have any doubts either.
