The social media network announced yesterday that its Messenger app now has 900 million users who roughly send over a billion messages every month.

As reported on The Verge, getting in touch with your friends over Facebook Messenger has truly been made hassle-free as Facebook had very recently rolled out its newest chatting methods. Similarly, Messenger Codes will be put to the same use, with a Messenger window popping up with a customer service bot on the other end.

The beginning of the steps to Facebook’s vision can be seen in a small update to Messenger yesterday, which introduced truncated “Messenger Links” and “Messenger Codes”.
