Finding Dory, which comes out in wide release on June 17, is bound to be a guilty pleasure for kids and grownups alike.
It was shown for the first earlier today by U.S. talkshow host Ellen DeGeneres, who also voices the supremely forgetful Dory (a blue tang) in the film. Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy will voice Dory’s parents, Jenny and Charlie.
Disney and Pixar have released a new trailer for the highly anticipated sequel Finding Dory. In the teaser, Dory finally sets out to be reunited with her family, taking friends from the first film Nemo and his father Marlin along for the ride.
Heres a fact that will make you feel ancient: Finding Nemo is 13 years old. In addition to the returning characters, there will be a few new friends including Destiny, a whale shark voiced by Kaitlin Olson. This year, after sequels to Toy Story, Monster Inc., and Cars, Pixar’s going to try to revisit one of their most beloved worlds again with Finding Dory.
Andrew Stanton, who was also behind Finding Nemo, came back to direct Finding Dory and helping him out was co-director Angus MacLane. But Finding Dory looks like it could be another huge hit. The first trailer is out, and it’s amusing as well as touching, especially the scene when Dory reminds Marlin of how it is to lose someone close. What can she remember?
“They travel far to a whole new part of the world, meeting a whole new cast of characters to try to figure out who her parents are and where they are”.
We next see her in what looks like a quarantine area of an aquarium, before being in a tank with a huge whale shark.
