First Trailer For ALIEN: COVENANT Arrives

December 26 14:19 2016

Fans’ excitement for Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant has been in overdrive since the overwhelming reaction to the film’s first footage was first reported. The movie’s got a brand new trailer, which just dropped yesterday.

The first trailer for Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant has arrived, and it’s bringing a lovely dose of xenomorph horror to Christmas celebrations.

In the story’s next film, a new character will be introduced and will also be played by the 39-year-old – and now we finally know what he will look like.

Fassbender returns for his part as David from Prometheus as well as another sythetic being by the name of Walter. So far, so good. The dark tone of the trailer can not go unnoticed, and even for the fact that the normally amusing Danny McBride is looking damn serious. “I read a lot of Carl Sagan and for some reason, some of Joan Didion’s work was really useful for me when I was working on this”, she told me. I gotta ask: why? In the rest of the trailer, we see a starship and the explorers finding another alien starship, as Nat King Cole’sNature Boy” plays in the background!

Overall, the preview provides a glimpse of the basic plot of the film, which is a follow-up to the 2012 release Prometheus. This prequel would give answers with such questions.

I have the same feelings of unease about the upcoming Blade Runner follow-up that Ridley Scott is producing, which promises to answer questions that I don’t think need answering. Now, this sequel promised a much terrifying with the loved space and alien struggles.

Which beasts do you think are more fantastic?

The trailer follows a team of explorers who go to a new world and – what else? – let their curiosity get the best of them.
