Five Nights at Freddy’s World Re-Released For Free

February 13 20:01 2016

Five Nights at Freddy’s creator re-releases the controversial spin-off role-playing game Five Nights at Freddy’s World on Steam for free, with additional content.

McFarlane Toys will produce the figurines based on Scott Cawthon’s Five Nights at Freddy’s in a deal that owner and CEO Todd McFarlane reckons is the “perfect balance”. Most of the blatant missing features have been fixed, but the game still doesn’t run great, and by some accounts, just isn’t a particularly good RPG.

The figures have points of articulation in their main joints and come with swappable heads and limbs based off of things seen in-game. Cawthon immediately issued an apology, pulled the game from Steam, and refunded all the sales to players.

The newly updated RPG features the entire cast from the “Five Nights at Freddy’s” series and will apparently let players control their most loved animatronics in an epic animated adventure.

He added: “I got too eager to show the things that were finished, that I neglected to pay attention to the things that weren’t”.

“So I say this to a community that I’ve enjoyed and respected for over a year and a half now-I’m sorry”.

So it seems like Cawthon feels as though he owes a debt of gratitude to the Five Nights at Freddy’s fans, and is looking to right the wrongs of Five Nights at Freddy’s World by re-releasing the game for free.

Eurogamer has confirmed that the re-released FNaF World will have a remodeled 3D overworld and a number of gameplay features that weren’t in the original version.
