Autobild suggests that the Fiesta RS is on track to be launched sometime in 2017 and that its power will be derived from the same turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine as the Fiesta ST. However, where the ST delivers 197 hp, the even more track-focused RS could deliver as much as 246 hp to offer performance previously unseen in small hatches.
The new Ford Focus RS looks set to be a triumph for Ford, with its 4WD powertrain, drift mode and 345bhp from its 2.3 liter EcoBoost engine.
The B-MAX lineup will grow with the addition of the Zetec Red Edition, White Edition and Silver Edition.
Besides adding in a few colors, Ford will also upgrade the interior and well as the engines of these models. This is enhanced with a black front grille and front and rear bumper inserts, body colored rear spoiler and black 16-inch alloy wheels.
However, it is not a secret that the company has an ambitious sports vehicle strategy that would see it boasts at least 12 new models in its sports auto portfolio by 2020. The interior gets a makeover too, with a contrasting black gear knob, a leather steering wheel with white stitching and white inserts for the interior door handles. All three editions feature a black contrasting roof and door mirrors.
There is also a choice of the award-winning 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine with 100PS or the 1.25-litre Duratec with 82PS in both three-door and five-door body styles. The special edition model will also come with a contrasting roof.
The new Focus Zetec S Red and Black Editions are available to order now.
