Freshmen are beginning to make their marks across Big Ten

Wisconsin traveled to West Lafayette to play No. 14 Purdue for the beginning of the weekend’s match-ups. The recently turned 21-year-old has played 13 different positions this season: linebacker, free safety, strong safety, cornerback, nickel cornerback, quarterback, running back, wide receiver, slot receiver, punt returner, kick returner, gunner and hold up. The team committed nine errors. Amara Darboh led in receiving with 87 yards and a touchdown in six receptions while Jehu Chesson had 52 yards in five catches. If the Wolverines can contain the rushing attack, they can handle the entire offense.

The defense has been a ball-hawking group that is stonewalling everyone, and there’s more speed across the roster and on the bench than you can shake a Buckeye leaf at.
