After successfully rolling after the Nougat software for previous year flagships, Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, Samsung has turned the screws on S6 and S6 Edge.
The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus became available in Korea and the USA last week, and it seems like market researchers are expecting more interest in the Galaxy S8 Plus, which is quite surprising.
The video noted that the Galaxy S8 was the first smartphone that cracked on all the sides in the first drop exposing users to loose glass and starburst cracks. Samsung believes that the hue is not a defect, and users can easily rectify the problem by adjusting the display’s colour range in Settings.
“Samsung… has made a decision to release a software update starting from this week which will provide consumers with a further enhanced ability to adjust the colour setting to their preference”, it said in a statement.
Overall, the devices could be Samsung’s best-performing smartphones yet.
The company didn’t release specific figures. Samsung refrained from providing any hard numbers, and I’ve asked whether preorders for the recalled Galaxy Note 7 are being factored into this new record.
According to Wall Street Journal, Samsung is actually preparing to release two new software updates for both the Galaxy S8 and its bigger brother, the Galaxy S8+. The company will still roll out a software fix for it.
Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus are the new flagships winning accolades for the new “Infinity Display” feature.
“Our display evaluators noted that displays of four of our test models appeared slightly more red than the other four”.
The company subjected the new Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus to its battery of breakability tests and found the new generation is a little more delicate than its predecessors, the S7 and S7 Edge.
