Both Xbox One titles should cater to gamers who love traditional fantasy, but Hand of Fate truly stands out for its unique mixture of gameplay elements that all combine to create a cohesive whole. The coolest thing now is that you can download the game and play it on Xbox One via backwards compatibility. It’s coming to your Xbox One on February 1.

It’s worth noting that all Xbox Live Games with Gold titles since November are backward compatible, so if you’re playing on Xbox One that means games available to play without having to haul out your old console. The sense of “just one more card…” permeates every gameplay session, and when you’re in the middle of a Hand of Fate game, you’ll find the hours just slipping away as you improve your character, and go again and again against the dealer. Styx: Master of Shadows will follow it up on February 15th, running until March 15th.

February’s Games With Gold titles have been announced, revealing Styx: Master of Shadows and Hand of Fate as your two Xbox One games for the month.

Xbox 360 players will then be given a special treat with Gears of War 2, available from February 16-29.
