Gender politics is backfiring for Democrat hopeful Hillary Clinton

Clinton’s second-place finish in New Hampshire, almost a quarter-century ago, in 1992 helped revive a campaign dogged by allegations of sexual misconduct.

“And despite my neat hairdo and GQ type of outfit, the media and the pundits didn’t quite consider us a serious type of candidacy, and, in fact, the word “fringe” was used a couple of times“, Sanders said. With the too-close-for-comfort win over Bernie Sanders in Iowa and a New Hampshire victory for the Vermont senator on the horizon, Clinton is reportedly looking to reassess the staff at her Brooklyn headquarters sooner rather than later. “There nothing wrong with that”.

“It hasn’t changed my view or my vote either”, Ms. Clinton said.

The hand shaking as well as the campaigning for his wife continue as Bill Clinton attacked Bernie Sanders and his supporters over the weekend.

Former President Bill Clinton levied an extended criticism of Bernie Sanders at a campaign stop in which he took issue with “sexist” attacks against his wife. To say that every nickel that Bernie received came from Wall Street is beyond preposterous. “It is laughable and suggests the kind of disarray that the Clinton campaign finds itself in today”.

Sanders’ communications director Michael Briggs said he was disappointed by President Clinton’s remarks. “And I have the scars to prove that”. “I haven’t just given speeches”. “You may not support me now, but I will always support you, and I will always fight to get results for you”.

Still, New Hampshire is known as a “late-deciding” state, where voters take their time and often meet candidates on multiple occasions before finally making their choice. She touched on several topics, including health care, blocking the privatization of Social Security and equal pay for women.

“For all the young people who are supporting my opponent, I thank you, too”.

“We need to not try to let people say everybody who is not for me is in the establishment”, Clinton said. I’ve said they’re going to wreck the economy over the mortgage markets. “Such observations were made during Iowa (via NYT):He seemed perfunctory, looked gaunt, didn’t seem to captivate the crowd”, said Jon Ralston, a veteran political commentator in Nevada, who attended the Las Vegas event last Friday. “We can once again chart this ship of state in the right direction”.

Sure, and listen Bernie Sanders has been part of that as a member of the caucus of the United States House and Senate for 25 years. “When older feminists like Albright and Steinem engage in increasingly baseless and wild explanations about why young women don’t support Hillary, they display the limitations of their brand of feminism, while young women like me realize that one’s gender isn’t what makes them a feminist”. In one instance, the former president said, a progressive blogger who wrote a favorable column about Hillary Clinton was compelled to post it under a pseudonym out of fear of blowback from Sanders proponents.

When a supporter praised his own economic record as president, Mr. Clinton replied, “We’d be better off if any of these young people could remember it”. “This whole thing is the biggest fairy tale I’ve ever seen”. Mr. Obama, of course, went on to defeat Ms. Clinton in the nomination contest.

“It bothers me to be in an election where debate is impossible because if you disagree you are just part of the establishment”, he said.
