Glenn Beck endorses Cruz: Trump win is ‘snowball to hell’

No federal elected official has yet to endorse Trump although others, like Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions, have appeared at Trump rallies.

Donald Trump thinks his supporters are so devoted that he could “shoot somebody” on Fifth Avenue without losing any voters. In fact, the Republican front-runner is so confident, he says his supporters would stay loyal even if he happened to commit a capital offense.

Those voters chose Trump at 28 percent compared to Cruz at 25 percent. They said Rubio “represents his party’s best hope”, though they interestingly did not indicate whether their support was conditional on Rubio not trying to murder anyone. “I love my people, and it’s a great thing”, he said.

Trump, too, has started to suggest that he’d look for ways to work with Republican leaders if he wins. Ted Cruz for president, Cruz’s campaign announced Saturday. “At this point, I really believe he is the only one with the ability to do that”.

The boost from Mr. Beck followed a major endorsement coup by Mr. Cruz’s chief rival, billionaire businessman Donald Trump, who earlier in the week teamed up with conservative firebrand Sarah Palin.

As a solution, a bipartisan group of senators that included 2016 hopeful Marco Rubio presented the “Gang of Eight” immigration bill that included a pathway of citizenship for undocumented residents. Trump, a former democrat is in the race for the Republican presidential nomination, as he tries to gather support for his candidacy in Iowa and New Hampshire. Ted Cruz, who was born in Canada, over his eligibility to run for president.

“I can say I have no intention of shooting anybody in this campaign”.

“He showed his toughness and we need somebody tough”, he said.
