Oh, you can buy this version now from Google Store, Bestbuy.com and Best Buy stores.
The color is the only thing that makes this version of the phone “special”. Starting today, the bigger Nexus 6P is finally available in the special edition Gold for those in the United States.
Back in November, Google released the Nexus 6P in the Sates in three color schemes – graphite, aluminum, and frost. It simply offers a new take on arguably the greatest smartphone in the world. The two 2015 Nexus handsets are also notable for being the first in the line to have fingerprint sensors, and the Nexus 6P is further distinguished as the first all-metal Google flagship.
The US Google Store is now showing the Nexus 6P in gold, and there is a Gold option in the Australian Google Store – with the phone priced the same as other colour variants. As of today, you will also be able to purchase the Nexus 6P Gold Edition in the US. It’s available right now from the Google Store and Best Buy. The gold model was initially only available as a Japanese exclusive, before launching in India last month. Meaning this phone looks good and retails for $499, or $549.
