Google Maps beta now offers parking reminder feature

It accesses the sensors of your phone and makes an assumption that you will park your vehicle on a supposedly empty space. When it hits zero, a push notification is sent on your phone alerting you about the timeout.

The feature is now available on Google Maps on Android (v. 9.49).
