Guns N’ Roses, LCD Soundsystem, Cavin Harris to headline 2016 Coachella festival

Adler, who suffered a drug-related stroke in recent years, was sacked by the band over his heroin use in 1991, but has always been considered an integral part of the band’s classic line-up. The band performed a farewell show at Madison Square Garden in 2011.

But the editor of fan forum MyGNRForum.com claims he has information suggesting Rose will no longer talk to Kimmel on Tuesday.

For Sunday, country breakout star, Chris Stapleton will perform together with other artists such as Rancid, Beach House, Deafheaven, Major Lazer, L.A. saxophonist and composer Kamasi Washington and more. According to US music industry magazine Billboard, GUNS N’ ROSES is also now in negotiations to do a 25-date football stadium tour in North America next summer for which they’re asking $3 million per show. The first was an update to the Guns N’ Roses website, albeit a very cryptic update.

Coachella takes place in Indio, California from April 15 – 17 and 22 – 24. Harris will headline during closing night.

Coachella, which began in 1999 as a festival of indie and alternative rock, has become one of the main attractions of the summer live music season. In 1999, the inaugural year of the festival, it was held in October and announced much later.

The headliners in 2015 were hard rock veterans AC/DC, garage rocker Jack White and chart-topping rapper Drake, who in a surprise brought Madonna onto stage.
