Music duo Reggie N Bollie are not disappointment that they lost out at the finale of X Factor UK 2015 to victor Louisa.
The comments have lead to allegations that ITV “fixed” the results, with people noting that the winners song was a ballad suited to Louisa’s singing tastes rather than Reggie “N” Bollie’s upbeat performance style. After her performance judge Simon Cowell told the 17-year-old, ‘I can honestly say, in all the years I have done this show, I have never heard anything as good as that’.
Her mentor Rita Ora said: “Thank you to Louisa for being the most wonderful, fabulous, attractive victor of the “X Factor”“. “You have no idea how much this means to me. Thank YOU!! U are seriously the most loyal supporters EVER”.
It capped a final show which also included performances by Adele and boy band sensation One Direction, in their last televised performance before a much-publicised one-year break.
Louisa rounded off the competitors’ final solo songs with her take on R Kelly’s I Believe I Can Fly.
Runners-up Reggie N Bollie were praised by their mentor Cheryl Fernandez-Versini who said it is “just the beginning” for them. Her duet with Rita Ora (Jennifer Hudson’s I Am Telling You) during part one of the final was simply incredible.
Reports suggest the stunning blonde will experience similar levels of popularity to 2006’s victor Leona Lewis and is expected to earning, at least, £6 million in the next year alone.
Next up, the two finalists sang the winner’s single, the Bob Dylan classic “Forever Young“.
She also revealed earlier on Good Morning Britain that she has been dreaming big for her future.
