While game developer Hello Games has rolled out the highly anticipated science fiction action adventure survival video game, “No Man’s Sky“, for PS4, PC and Steam, there’s now no word on when the game will get an Xbox One release date. As for the issue of paid DLC, Murray noted that “maybe in the future there’s some reason why we just couldn’t possibly afford to do a certain feature without charging for it”. In addition developer Sean Murray has been rather coy about talking about an Xbox One release, further suggesting a release is on the cards.
In theory it is supposed to be a multiplayer game, but there is only a very tiny chance of encountering another player in the virtual space world.
Are you now playing No Man’s Sky?
No Man’s Sky released on the PlayStation 4 exactly one week ago in North America.
Hello Games stated that they can not provide an ETA on the PlayStation 4 patch of “No Man’s Sky” at the moment, because they are still focused to acquire the PC release live. In the meantime, the game will now let you know if you are trying to run with an unsupported GPU.
No man’s sky is finally upon us but is it really everything it was made out to be?
“For our game (No Man’s Sky) it’s procedurally generated”. Murray added that was more than happy to talk about the future possibilities that more powerful console hardware, such as the PS4 Neo, could have on the game. So more powerful hardware doesn’t just mean upgraded textures or a higher framerate. It means they can fundamentally change the experience of what game is like in with better experience for the players.
Those things tend to get old after 10 hours or so, and it would be nice if the different alien races you meet throughout the universe at least had different looking bases.
And you’ll have a blast in space this summer.
“Like many thousands of other customers who bought this game, it immediately crashes at the opening splash screen”.
