A picture rumoured to be Ronda Rousey’s bare bum has sent the internet into meltdown – but there is some debate over whether it is actually her.
Soon, it appears, that butt will be on full display inside the 2016 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, which is due out in February. Body paint is the latest trend for SI, with names like Alex Morgan, Kate Upton and more baring all except for key areas covered in paint to look like swimsuits.
Keen-eyed viewers noted the blonde hair, muscular physique and tattoo’s identify Rousey as the model.
Those “savvy web sleuths” believe that’s Rousey in the photo after matching up the fighter’s wrist tattoo to the one in the photo, as For The Win pointed out Wednesday.
Adding fuel to the rumour mill fire is the fact that Rousey blew up after appearing in last year’s swimsuit edition.
The magazine would not say whether she would be returning for a spread this year, but did keep people guessing with a post on their website.
Rousey, 28, has kept a low profile since losing her title in a knockout at the fists of Holly Holm in November.
“A body-painted spread in SI Swimsuit would truly be a comeback for the ages”.
Even though she lost, Rousey still gets dibs over Holm (although the “Preacher’s Daughter” may balk at the racy gig), Paige VanZant, or Miesha Tate.
