Hillary Clinton has 2.8-point lead over Donald Trump — UPI/CVoter poll

According to the most recent Marquette Law School Poll released Wednesday, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s lead over Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has decreased among registered Wisconsin voters.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump holds a slight lead over Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in a Rasmussen poll released September 1.

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus Wednesday ripped Hillary Clinton’s foreign policy speech to vetera.

“Trump choked!” – That was the verdict from Clinton’s campaign chairman after Trump said he and Pena Nieto didn’t discuss who would pay for the wall.

The speech was touted as one that would emphasize “American exceptionalism”, an idea that the US, as an “exceptional” world citizen, has a moral obligation to advance democracy in the world rather than imposing it against another country’s will.

“We stand with our allies because generations of our troops fought and died to secure those bonds”, Clinton said.

And while Trump has questioned the USA role in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and has suggested he might not automatically come to the defense of NATO allies if they are attacked, Clinton stressed America’s role in bringing countries together, saying the nation’s roster of allies “is part of what makes us exceptional”. “She was invited – she doesn’t have the strength or the stamina to make America great again”.

Much of the speech focused on the idea of “American exceptionalism”, which broadly refers to the view that the United States was created differently than other nations and bears singular global responsibilities.

Le Pen also went after Clinton, saying the former secretary of state would bring “war”, “devastation” and “instability” as president. Mr. Trump’s meeting with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto clearly is created to make the Republican billionaire appear more presidential, but Mrs. Clinton said the meeting doesn’t make up for the year of insults Mr. Trump has lobbed at Hispanic Americans.

As of August 28, the best estimate of how Americans plan to vote in November, according to this particular poll, is that Trump will win.

When respondents were asked if the word “honest” described the candidates, 68 percent of candidates said no to Clinton while 64 percent said no to Trump. Her declining support has, in large part, been attributed to a series of fierce attacks from the Trump campaign over the past few days.

The ad buy comes weeks after Clinton’s campaign made a decision to expand their political and organizing operations into Arizona, telling state Democratic leaders that they planned to invest six figures in a ground operation in the state. “It truly is about who has the experience and the temperament to serve as president and commander in chief”.
