Bernie Sanders, I-Vt. adjusts his tie as he walks to address the media before departing the airport for campaign events in Colorado, Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, in Reno, Nev. Sanders, who identifies as a democratic socialist – unique for a USA presidential candidate – recently hammered home during a Democratic debate his opposition to what he believes is the corrosive power of Wall Street on American democracy.

Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign enlisted the support of black Democrats on Friday to undermine Bernie Sanders’ push to claim a piece of President Barack Obama’s legacy, arguing she is the rightful heir to the nation’s first black president. The Democratic National Committee also announced that it had rolled back restrictions introduced by presidential candidate Barack Obama in 2008 that banned donations from federal lobbyists and political action committees, according to the Post. “He tried to get some attention to attract a candidate to actually run against the president when he was running for re-election”, Mrs. Clinton told a gymnasium full of voters near the campus of a historically black college here.

Clinton’s campaign published a video on Saturday that goes to that point.

Clinton and Sanders are now drawing their focus to Nevada, a state where voters will decide who to caucus for next Saturday.

Clinton and Sanders are both fighting to win support among African-American voters ahead of the SC primary on February 27.

But she said she’s already chose to vote for Clinton because she’s the best chance to “keep the White House Democratic”. “We’d prefer not to do that”, said Tad Devine. I am the only candidate that has a record of taking on those barriers. Her campaign has conducted focus groups of African-American voters, an aide said, which revealed that many of them associate attacks on the health law as no different from attacks on Mr. Obama himself. Clinton campaigned in Denmark, South Carolina, where she outlined a $125 billion economic revitalization proposal aimed at creating jobs, improving infrastructure and building housing in “communities of poverty and systemic racism”.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has distanced herself from Bernie Sanders by presenting herself as the pragmatist who can get things done in Washington
