In what is possibly the most amusing campaign promise in the history of the United States, Hillary Clinton promised to release information about aliens, UFOs, and Area 51 if she is elected president.
According to the Daily Sun, at the time, Clinton revealed that “the No. 1 topic of freedom-of-information requests that her husband, former President Bill Clinton, received at his library was UFOs”.
29 visit with the editorial board of The Conway Daily Sun, a daily newspaper in Conway, New Hampshire, journalist Daymond Steer reminded Clinton that he’d asked her about UFOs in 2007. She recalled that 2007 exchange with a smile and seemed to have fun discussing the topic.
Clinton said that she would “get to the bottom” of UFOs as president and also would look into Area 51, first referring to the military facility as “Area 54”. “We don’t know for sure”, Hillary Clinton said last week, appearing to defend her husband.
She went on to say she would try to set up a task force to investigate goings on at Area 51, where UFOers claim the remains of the alleged 1947 Roswell flying saucer crash in New Mexico and alien bodies were taken.
“I think we may have been [visited already]”, she added.
Last year Bill Clinton told U.S. chat show host Jimmy Kimmel he wouldn’t be surprised if alien life visited Earth but said he hoped it “wouldn’t be like Independence Day“.
Clinton’s comments are among the rare public statements she’s made on UFO’s and possible government cover ups-a subject that is a familiar one for both Hillary and Bill Clinton.
In 1993, Clinton, when he was president, was approached by billionaire Laurance Rockefeller to release all UFO files to the public.
He said: “Finally, my biggest failure of 2014: Once again not securing the #disclosure of the UFO files”.
‘She can not run away from those links so she really has to embrace it in order to remain credible.
