The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star will be released from a CT prison on Wednesday, attorney James Leonard Jr. told The Record. Teresa Giudice was sentenced in federal court in Newark to 15 months in prison on conspiracy and bankruptcy charges while her husband, Giuseppe “Joe” Giudice, was sentenced to 41 months. She is very excited to be home with her children, and one can imagine that she is excited to spend some time with her husband before he has to turn himself in to serve time. “And when that period ends, she will begin a [two-year] period of supervised release”. She will then be on home confinement until February 5. She’ll have to wear an ankle bracelet and may only leave her house with permission from the Bureau of Prisons. “They will be filming for the Real Housewives of New Jersey”.
We already know Teresa and the fam will spend Christmas Eve at sister-in-law Melissa Gorga’s home, and then take on Christmas Day with Joe’s family.
Melissa continues, “It appears that for the families, the holidays are a time to let bygones be bygones”.
Melissa, 36, and Teresa haven’t seen each other in over a year as Melissa did not visit Teresa in prison. “They’re really thankful she’s finally coming home”.
“If she were to re-sign with Bravo, she would be permitted to film the show”, says Leonard. He is expected to turn himself in March.
