Here is a good news for all the Huawei Honor 7 users as the emerging company has just started releasing the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Honor 7 smartphone. Users need to fill in their handset’s IMEI number and current software version. The Chinese major has begun the update for its Honor 7 smartphone. Honor says the Android Marshmallow OTA update will reach their device in 24-48 hours from the time of registration.

Honor 7 sports a 5.2 inch full HD with the 1080x1920px display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. How the features of Huawei will be available with the new Android 6.0 is yet to be revealed by the company. Huawer Honor 7 launched with metal bod design and fingerprint sensor at back with Android Lollipop v5.0. It’s powered by a 2.2GHz Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 935 processor, Mali-T628 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

As for the imaging options on the Honor 7, the primary rear-facing camera comes with a 20-megapixel Sony Exmor RS IMX230 sensor with phase detection auto-focus and a dual LED, dual-tone flash. The front camera is the 8MP one and it also sports LED flash. The phone runs on 3,100 mAh non-removable battery.
