Internet Crowns Ken Bone, Via Memes, as Winner of Latest Presidential Debate

During the debate this past weekend, the internet fell in love with Ken Bone, the man who earnestly asked the presidential nominees how they’d deal with various environmental and energy challenges.

Red Sox pitcher Joe Kelly recognizes this. And when the comedian told Bone his fans were starting to call themselves “boneheads”, he said: “That’s fantastic”.

Leaving you tickets to tonights game!

Ken Bone asks a question during the town hall debate. So did America! But they also liked his ensemble – red sweater, white shirt and white tie, as well as his unwavering, direct delivery of said question, and, again, the fact that his name was Ken Bone.

Bone, who says he works in coal electricity (his question at the debate was about how the candidates would craft their energy policies to reduce emissions while not harming jobs), aligns with Trump on his economic policy.

Kelly has done his part in the playoffs, throwing two innings of shutout baseball.

“I’m going to hold my judgment for the third debate and a political cycle like this one anything can happen, so I don’t want to firmly jump on board with one or the other because new facts come out everyday”, Bone said. He’s done numerous TV interviews, including CNN, Fox and “Jimmy Kimmel Live”, where he spoke to the host Monday night about “how adorable he is”. “The red sweater is plan B”.

And yes, the sweater in question is now completely sold out, but Bone nearly went a different direction with his clothing choice for the evening.

Ladies and gentlemen, we give you, Mr Ken Bone.

“I work in coal fired electricity and it’s a big concern where I live in southern IL, the St. Louis metro area”, he said.

The victor of the second presidential debate was neither Trump nor Clinton: it was a man named Ken Bone. Bone has gained 113,000 Twitter followers in the 40 hours after the debate.

The victor in last night’s debate?

“I know people hate to hear this, but I think I might be more undecided than ever”, he said.
