According to the ever-credible Digi Times citing the local publication Commercial Times, a new “compound materials” will be utilized by Apple to hide the antennas on the iPhone 7 and thereby, putting an end to the over-used plastic stripes.

Performance-wise, Apple will equip the iPhone 7 with a hexa-core A10 chipset, which represents a huge improvement when compared to the dual-core A9 chipset found on the 6S models.

The lawsuit was filed with a NY district court on Tuesday and seeks $5 million in damages, claiming that Apple was aware of potential compatibility issues when it released the iOS 9 software update for the iPhone 4S. The iPhone 4s was released in October 2011, the iPad mini in October 2012, and the iPad 2 in March 2011. According to the lawsuit, iOS 9 “significantly interferes” with the performance of the iPhone 4s, and Apple is wrong in not letting users downgrade their devices to earlier versions of iOS.

Exactly the same may be said for smartphones also, but for the most part Apple is pretty great with supporting devices that were older, even when it means that they tend not to get certain attributes.

The lawsuit includes more than 100 members who complain of a poor overall iPhone 4s experience following the iOS 9 update. Hence, the users are left using an older handset running on a newer version but neither complements the other.

The complaint claims that the company’s iOS ecosystem takes advantage of users who want to stay in their comfort zone, in addition to the fact that the investments they have made in apps can not be transferred. By definition, next-generation software is limited in its support of last-generation hardware. “Then, we’ll explore artistic ways to adjust and edit your photos, so you can create a work of art, find your style, or just improve your skills”, said Apple in a statement. We may see a new design, new features as well as massive power added to the new gizmo. That case was thrown out.
