Jacksonville bakery sends 7 ‘turnovers’ to Steelers’ Roethlisberger in troll job

The Pittsburgh Steelers stole the headlines today with their coaching news and in today’s rumors roundup there is more Steelers news to cover. There are good coaching candidates but majority are locked in on their next destination and it would be costly if they make a change and their possible replacement could take a while to pick up where Tomlin left off.

That’s about the only certainty when it comes to the team’s power structure on that side of the ball after coach Mike Tomlin cited a “gathering information” stage when given the chance to endorse offensive coordinator Todd Haley. The Steelers made the playoffs in four of six seasons with Haley running the offence.

Haley has been under fire for quite some time in Pittsburgh.

MOST DISAPPOINTING PLAYER: Bud Dupree, the No. 24 overall pick in the 2015 draft, was expected to develop into one of the top outside linebackers in the league in his third season.

Cinotti’s Bakery savagely sent a box of seven turnovers to Heinz Field for the Steelers quarterback to show their gratitude for his mistakes against the Jaguars in Sunday’s divisional playoff game.

They will now play Super Bowl holders the New England Patriots. He has a solid rapport with Roethlisberger and the transition would likely be very easy for a team built to win now. “But I definitely don’t”. I love this game.

“I also realize that efforts from guys like him have provided opportunities for guys like me”. It’s tough. It stings. I’m certainly not going to steer away from decision-making for fear of ridicule. My guys know that about me. I feel like I let a lot of people down. Former Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward is probably the odds on favorite to land job being as he’s been working closely with the team the last few seasons.

Fichtner is considered the favorite to replace Haley as offensive coordinator, sources told Rapoport. That was the warning people gave the Steelers for wanting to face the Jaguars again.
