James says Warriors different in 2017

All we heard coming into this NBA Finals series was how much Warriors guard Klay Thompson was struggling.

Now he’s looking for a big payday. “I played against some great teams but I don’t think no team had this kind of firepower”.

With a loaded lineup and enough hot hands to fill an octopus, the Warriors don’t need to rely on any one player to take a lot of shots. That’s what made what became the defining play of Game 2 – Curry dribbling around for about 10 seconds before blowing by James and getting to the rim for a layup – so striking. Although James’ decision had little to do with Griffin being the GM, it’s a big notch on the resume regardless.

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers desperately seek a way to beat the Golden State Warriors, but they are running out of time to prove their NBA Finals rivals aren’t invincible.

Lebron James and company are back in the same boat they were in previous year. Now he wants to get paid.

Asked if the Cavs still believe they can win the series, he said, “Totally”. Even though the Cavs have been in the game at halftime in the first two games, it’s looked like they’ve been holding on for dear life to be at that point.

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving (2) drives on Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green (23) and Kevin Durant (35) during the first half of Game 3 of basketball’s NBA Finals in Cleveland, Wednesday, June 7, 2017. We know if we get off the board and push, we’re a unsafe team.

Now all of a sudden, the Cavs, who stacked their team by busting the salary cap to be in this position, are the victims and the Warriors hold an unfair advantage. “So they won two games; now we got to go home and regroup”.

“I’m human, as well as my teammates, and to lay it all on the line like that, you want to come out on the winning side”, Irving said.

“I believe in our guys”, Kerr said.

Hardly the thrillers fans were expecting from the two teams that advanced to the Finals with a combined 24-1 record in the playoffs.

But the 14-year veteran said Wednesday the team’s confidence has not wavered, even though it is down 0-2 to the Golden State Warriors going into Wednesday night’s Game 3 at Quicken Loans Arena.

“Well, it’s been a great run but none of that matters unless we can finish the job with this series”, Kerr said. “For that one to go in, that was liberating right there”. We dont play slowdown basketball, ” James said. “But we felt like we had a couple chances to get the game in control and we didn’t do that”, Love said.

Durant, the celebrated (and/or ridiculed) offseason acquisition, tallied 33 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, five blocks and three steals Sunday, making him the first player to post those numbers in a playoff game. We didn’t have a ton of money when I was growing up but my dad worked in the hardware department of the general store, and in 1994 the video games were in the hardware department of the general store, and if someone returned a console thinking it was broken but it wasn’t broken, my dad could bring it home.

“You’ve got to just understand what’s at stake every possession from the jump”. Durant got the accolades. along with his first Finals road victory.

If they sweep, the viewership will likely remain high because the meltdown in Cleveland will be riveting TV. What’s more, the source of the snippet supports ESPN’s report that the track was record in 2011, since Spider Studios is where James and Durant worked out together during the offseason that same year.

If the Cavs end up agreeing to an extension with Griffin, it makes sense that they did not allow him to speak with other teams.
