Kyle Busch tops brother Kurt to win pole in Atlanta

After last week’s exciting finish to the Daytona 500, the 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season is in full swing.

Hamlin obviously has all the momentum in the world from last week’s win in the Daytona 500 and finished third here in 2014.

Atlanta Motor Speedway is one of the most popular stops on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series circuit.

Johnson is the defending victor of the race and has a 13.1 average finish in his last ten Atlanta starts. “I’m excited for what this brings”. Jimmie Johnson in his 40th year of life will not suddenly forget the way to Victory Lane.

“It was lovely weather and a lovely day for racing”, Brad Keselowski said.

These three racers need to be considered on fantasy tickets. Though he was almost two-tenths of a second behind Larson, he also picked up speed as practice went on.

A shorter spoiler and slight changes to the front splitter and extension panel showed promise a year ago when used for races at Kentucky Speedway and Darlington Raceway. And to some, the drivers who best take advantage of the new package will be pretty recognizable.
