President Donald Trump raised eyebrows once again on Saturday after he justified his “respect” for Russian President Vladimir Putin by pointing out that the United States has “a lot of killers” and asking, ‘Well, you think our country is so innocent?’

Next, Fox News reporter Bill O’Reilly pressed the President by suggesting that the Russian President was a “killer”, however Mr Trump did not budge.

“I hate to make predictions”, said Trump, who spent all previous year predicting he’d win the White House.

“He respects Vladmir Putin, because he believes that the leaders of countries get to get treated with respect. I have no idea”, Trump said.

“We have a lot of killers”, he said. “Boy, you think our country’s so innocent?”

Trump’s respect for Putin was a familiar trope during presidential election which the major U.S. intelligence agencies believe Russian intelligence sought to influence on Trump’s behalf.

Pointing to criticism that Trump says things he “cannot back up factually,” O’Reilly said that critics say that is “irresponsible”. The leader of the free world has set an expectation, saying it is very possible that he wouldn’t get along with him.

“Putin’s a killer”, retorted O’Reilly. Just this week, sanctions were eased to allow USA companies to make limited transactions with the FSB, Russia’s spy service, which was accused of involvement in the hacking of Democratic organizations previous year.

Trump was also asked about claims that he has made about the people illegally casting ballots in the election, with no evidence.

“There are a lot of killers”.

“We consider the words of the Fox News host unacceptable and insulting”, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday. The White House’s previous statements that it would call for an investigation into the alleged voter fraud have since died down.

Donald Trump’s tiny hands have been a hot topic since Marco Rubio said “He’s like 6’2″, which is why I don’t understand why his hands are the size of someone who is 5’2”.

In an interview with Fox’s Bill O’Reilly to air during the Super Bowl, Trump implied that the United States is as just as bad as Putin.
