Samsung has confirmed that it is not going to launch the Galaxy S8 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2017) in Barcelona like it had done earlier when it launched the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.
The images clearly reveal a USB Type-C port on both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack, although some reports say that Samsung might ditch the latter.
As spotted by Sammobile, the support page carries a model number SM-G955FD, which confirms that the device will be none other than Galaxy S8 Plus. The Galaxy S8 may have a smaller screen and battery capacity, but so far rumors suggest the devices may otherwise be the same.
The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is a large device with a 6-inch full HD Super AMOLED 2.5D curved display with a 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution.
There is no official information on the Galaxy S8; however, readers are requested to take all the leaks and rumors with a grain of salt.
Unfortunately, the leak didn’t mention anything about what we may expect from the handset or when it will launch.
Last year’s Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge were equipped with 5.1-inch and 5.5-inch displays respectively. This includes Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processor plus 6GB of RAM and iris scanning technology.
Another great feature that is available in the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is its great camera setup that is geared towards selfie lovers. According to the most recent patent’s abstract, Samsung is planning to create a device that has a flexible screen placed in two housing cases that will be connected by a hinge module.
The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro smartphone will be available in India on February 24. The smartphone will also be the first phone to have Bixby, Samsung’s very own virtual assistant to rival Apple’s Siri, the Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Microsoft’s Cortana, and the upcoming Viki from Nokia.
