LG G Pad II 8.3 Unveiled, Gets In-Built Stylus

December 25 05:04 2015

On the camera front, LG G Pad II 8.3 has an 8MP rear camera and 2MP selfie snapper.

According to fonearena, there’s no word on price yet, but we do know it will go on sale in South Korean on December 23. There is no prize for guessing the screen size of the LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core SoC, at a clock speed of 1.5 GHz quad-core along with 1 GHz quad-core and paired with 2GB of RAM.

Apart from having quite the name, the G Pad 2 8.3 LTE occupies an unusual middle ground between the G Pad 2 10.1 and its 8-inch compatriot, with the G Pad 2 8.3 LTE retaining the footprint of the latter while packing somewhat similar hardware to the former.

However, it has some premium touches, including a 1920 x 1200 pixel IPS display and support for mobile broadband networks. The tablet packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 2000GB via a microSD card. The LTE capability is also packaged with its other connectivity options including Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and Global Positioning System.

The company is also updating its range of G Pad tablets. Meanwhile, In August, LG has launched the LG G Pad II 10.1 and G Pad II 8.0. It also includes 100GB of free storage on Microsoft‘s OneDrive.

Those who take pictures with their tablets will be happy to find an 8-megapixel camera on the back and a 2-megapixel camera on the front. Since the previous G Pad II models have barely made any appearances outside of Asia, I wouldn’t expect to see this one in other markets any time soon.
