Lonzo Ball roasts his obnoxious dad in amusing Father’s Day commercial

The commercial may help Lonzo’s draft stock if it shows he’s aware that his father is a bit outspoken. Washington’s Markelle Fultz, the projected first-overall pick, will visit the team on Thursday.

With the season over and the NBA Draft on June 22nd, you can bet this won’t be the last you hear from the Ball family.

So, if the Lakers were to draft Ball, it will give them a guy that immediately has the attitude of a leader and is dedicated to his craft and making his team the best as a whole unit. Ball said a significant portion of that workout involved shooting. Additionally, they were not enamored with the fact that he was wearing Adidas while his father and him are in constant promotion of his new Big Baller Brand. Still, the sentiment around most National Basketball Association circles is that they will select Ball despite the fact some in the organization were not impressed with his conditioning during his first workout. However, with more than a week before the National Basketball Association draft, the team is reportedly split on who to pick at No. 2. While LaVar has made it clear he wants the Lakers to draft his son with the second overall pick, Lonzo told CNNMoney that he’s fine with whatever team picks him. He got selected to the NCAA All-American First Team during both his sophomore (1983) and junior years (1984). “Just talking to them, we didn’t really talk about me getting drafted or anything like that, but more about me being a better young man, no matter where I go”. However, now that the Lakers have done their fair share of scouting and workouts, Josh Jackson seems to have taken the lead on the Lakers board.

Jackson canceled a scheduled workout with the Celtics on Monday and then made his way to El Segundo on Tuesday. Conditioning is something that is built over the course of training camp and the regular season. Smith has been out shadowed in this draft despite being one of the most talented in the class. In LA, he’d most likely be thrown into the fire as the Lakers’ starting 2-guard and would be playing 30 minutes a night with no pressure.
