Loot Crate Launches Loot Gaming At PAX South (Video UPDATE)

January 31 08:29 2016

Arevalo told GameSpot that what differentiates the Loot Gaming crate from the Loot Crate is that gaming items featured in the Loot Gaming crate will not be featured in the original Loot Crate, but that gaming items will still be sent in the original crate. The booklet detailing the contents will be done as an old-school game manual, which kids today have probably never seen since all that information is digital now (KIDS TODAY, AMIRITE?) and exclusive Loot Gaming pins will be in the box as well.

Loot Crate CEO Matthew Arevalo revealed to GameSpot that Loot Crate was working with Bethesda on Fallout-themed items for the November crate before the announcement of Fallout 4.

Loot Gaming follows the same model as Loot Crate’s other subscription services, like Loot Anime and Loot Pets, by delivering a monthly box of collectible swag to subscribers.

Loot Gaming also released a trailer that you can view below.

For twenty-five dollars (per month, of course), subscribers will set themselves up to receive a mystery box filled with 4-6 gaming-related tokens and items worth upwards of $60 or more. “Gaming will give people the chance to own a piece of those gaming universes and join an active community of fans who love those same great franchises”. Not to mention, the subscription service is obviously a lucrative idea, as it inspired Nintendo to create a Loot Crate styled service called N-Box.

Loot Gaming will go on sale soon, and fans can keep themselves updated by visiting its official website.
