Milwaukee Bucks acquire forward Michael Beasley in exchange for guard Tyler Ennis

September 22 23:01 2016

“On Tuesday the Milwaukee Bucks player was put in another driver”™s seat as he spoke to reporters about the four-year, $100 million contract he signed a few minutes earlier. Beasley has played for Miami in two separate stints, Minnesota, Phoenix and Houston.

27-year-old Beasley played in 20 games for the Rockets last season. Middleton’s six-month timeline to return wouldn’t be until after the National Basketball Association trade deadline next year, and it’s hard to imagine Milwaukee competing for an upper-tier playoff seed with any of the players they now have playing significant minutes at shooting guard. The bigger question is who would the Bucks be willing or have to give up in a trade.

Khris Middleton, a 25-year-old wing who’s set to enter his fifth National Basketball Association season, showed vast improvement last year and looked to be a staple in Milwaukee’s young lineup.

After severely underperforming in 2015-16, the Milwaukee Bucks are looking to get back on track and, hopefully, make the playoff push that they’re capable of.

Middleton averaged a career-high 18.2 points, 4.2 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.7 steals last season in 79 games. He won’t replicate Middleton’s floor spacing or defense – especially his defense. This is what has happened to the Bucks with Middleton’s injury. His absence will have a domino effect for Milwaukee, potentially opening extra minutes for Matthew Dellavedova, Michael Carter-Williams, Jason Terry and Giannis Antetokounmpo, while Rashad Vaughn and Malcolm Brogdon will likely fight for the SG during camp. Sep.

“It was a good summer for me”, said Middleton, who trained in SC and in Santa Barbara, Calif.

“I just try to improve on everything, try to become more efficient and try to become stronger”. The Chicago Bulls and the New York Knicks will surely be in the mix.

The loss of the six-foot-eight shooting guard is devastating for reasons other than his production.
