Not once has Donald Trump said that the media is now biased against him and doing everything to put him and his campaign in a negative light. Eight percent support Libertarian Gary Johnson.

On Wednesday night, FiveThirtyEight ‘s Nate Silver wrote that Trump has “probably narrowed his deficit against Clinton”, but by too little to see any major shift.

While Trump, a NY businessman who says he is worth $10 billion, typically makes a personal contribution of about $2 million each month, he had not done so yet in October.

A cluster of recent national surveys have shown the race nudging back toward the Republican a bit, though the Real Clear Politics average deficit is still a significant 5.7 points.

Clinton leads 91 – 3 percent among Democrats and 46 – 32 percent among independent voters.

The University of Texas/Texas Tribune Internet survey of 1,200 registered voters was conducted from October 14 to October 23 and has an overall margin of error of +/- 2.83 percentage points.
