New Yorkers blast Cruz’s comments on ‘New York values’

The battle lines are being drawn.

Trump and Cruz got into a lengthy back and forth on the eligibility issue at Thursday’s presidential debate in SC.

Ted Cruz “responded to demands from liberal politicians” and sort of apologized for what he said about NY during Thursday’s debate.

The two Republican candidates were once fellow soldiers incensed by Washington, dead-set on burning it down and ripping power away from its corrupting forces.

Cruz did not mention Trump to the Tea Party event but talking to reporters in Fort Mill, S.C., earlier in the day he was unsparing.

Trump appeared ready to follow Cruz’s lead Saturday.

For Trump, it is a pitch to the politically aggrieved and economically disenfranchised. “And I won’t be angry when we fix it”. Making things more hard, voters there are still somewhat split between a half-dozen candidates with some Christian appeal.

The Cruz adviser told CNN that the belief within the campaign is that the case – which the adviser described as “non-serious” and “ridiculous” – will not have standing, because there is no harm that can be proven.

“I saw something that no place on Earth could have handled more beautifully, more humanely than New York”, Trump said from the debate stage.

Trump then referenced a loan Cruz received from Goldman Sachs during his 2012 Senate candidacy as well as a New York Times report from Friday that said Cruz failed to disclose a second loan from Citibank during his 2012 Senate run.

Trump fired back with an emotional response, citing the city’s response after the September 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center. He’s an unapologetic and proud New Yorker. “The people in NY fought and fought and fought”. Last month’s faceoff, aired on CNN, was seen by 18.2 million.

Others sought to distinguish the politics of the city, which is liberal and overwhelmingly votes Democratic in presidential elections, from the rest of the state.

The reductions are viewed as part of an on going feud with New York City’s mayor.

Ted Cruz and Donald Trump are back on the campaign trail Friday after trading heavy hits in the latest Republican debate. I think that’s ludicrous.

Since the summer, Trump has gathered thousands of people into stadiums and farms like the one he lit up Friday in Urbandale, Iowa. “He clearly meant it was a blue (Democratic) state (and) not very conservative”.

Following his appearances on television on Friday, Trump had a scheduled speech in Iowa and said he would have a free screening of the film 13 Hours, which is about the attack in Benghazi that killed three Americans. We don’t take kindly to people like you.
