NFL draft: Browns still searching for franchise quarterback

To be clear, I’m not ranking the players in the order I believe they’ll be drafted, but rather, who I view are the top prospects coming out of college regardless of positional value.

Sounds like a New York Giants pick to me.

The 2017 NFL Draft is quickly approaching on Thursday evening, which means rumors are going to come hot and heavy. He rushed for 2,045 yards and 22 touchdowns in 2015, but played in only seven games previous year due to an ankle injury.

I think that’s part of growing this nucleus of players that fit and embody what we’re all about, because I think the more players you have, and I think free agency for us was trying to develop that on the limited knowledge that we had.

Some are predicting the team could draft up to three defensive backs to improve the secondary next year. I expect Robinson to be a first-round pick, somewhere in the 11-24 range.

Throughout the pre-draft process, many have penciled in Stanford’s dynamic defensive end with San Francisco at No. 2.

The ideal play is Garrett at No. 1 and Trubisky at No. 12, obviously.

He’ll take one more flight to Philadelphia as one of the players who’ll attend the first round in person. However, Kizer’s head coach from Notre Dame in Brian Kelly might have hurt Kizer’s value when he said he should have stayed in school and waited to become a pro. The option also isn’t guaranteed until the player’s fifth league year begins. Why don’t we discuss taking an impact kickoff/ punt returner in the later rounds?

PFF ranks Fournette as their 23rd-best prospect in this draft, making him a major reach at No. 9 in their eyes. Is there a Josh Cribbs out there?
